"Once upon a time, In a faraway memory, I was commissioned to work on a task that required a really long chain. After endless of hours counting chains, I struggled to get the chains untwisted. And then poof, a little birdy came to the window and told me exactly what I was doing wrong" (Woops, sorry but the kids love storytelling)

Check out how to really work up long chains without having to worry about them twisting in the round. And if you prefer to watch the video tutorial instead, skip these steps and jump right on down

Step By Step Picture Guide

Start your chains as normal, with a slip knot and chain up to 10 - 15 chains

Next, remove your hook and insert the hook through the first chain at the bottom. Then, carefully insert your hook back into the working loop without twisting the chain.

Continue to chain the number of chains required for your project

Once you have completed all the chains required, slip the last loop through the first chain to close, Chain 1 to start a new row.

Proceed to stitch the next row beautifully without any twisted chains.
